BRI shotgun shell with lead sabot

Received these as a gift years ago from a friend at Gun Digest, samples with a window showing
the type of slug or sabot in the loading. headstamp marking is BRI 20 GA. BRI 16 GA and BRI 12 GA.

Anyone know who manufactured these shells ?43785

I don't know about before BRI was bought out by Winchester in 1997. I had a five round pack given to me to try before then. While these were supposed to be for a rifled barrel or choke, in my 18" smooth bore Mossberg 500 at 50 yards they would cut one hole.
