Interesting model of the M1 rifle using wood and white metal, I understand this company
also had kits of the Browning M1918A2 BAR and Winchester Model 94 carbine. Also noticed
that the address is without a postal zip code which might help date this kit43413434144341543416

That is cool! Wonder if anyone has one tucked away somewhere?

Used to be plastic models of all kinds of stuff. I recall seeing a Lewis gun years and years ago. I think it was full size too.

Japanese Toy companies made Thompson SMG's and Colt 1911A1 pistols that woud fool you until you got very close, some
even fired toy cartridges

I remember the kit. One problem with a metal kit back then (late 50's) was that there were no glues to effectively glue them together. I built a few HO RR craftsman kit cars that were wood kits with metal details which I usually glued with "Ambroid" glue and they were pretty fragile as far as the wood to metal stuff.

Pyro made a number of plastic kits of guns including the Peacemaker and a lever action rifle as well as some real old stuff, I guess for wall decor.

If you do a search for Pyro on the big auction site, you will find quite a few old plastic kits of full size replica firearms. I remember building a large flintlock pistol from one of their kits more than 50 years ago!
