I lived in Beaufort SC for a time while I was in the Corps in the 60s.
I love the Winters and the change of seasons.
Of coarse when I want a change of pace the wife and I jump on a plane and get away for a time. We both miss home after a couple of weeks.

Looks like you shoveled your drive way or was it a bobcat front end loader? Here in AZ, I went out today on my way to the mailbox and had to shovel sunshine off the drive way to get to it.

I have plenty of snow removal gear. Not much good clearing sunshine though.

No neighbors that we associate with. Mostly weekend New Yorkers in this area now and we speak totally different languages.
