When you've been invaded you need to be able to fight back.

Let's hope the resistance has updated their arsenal over the years.

This is at least something. I don't know what they consider "more historical" though.

Authorities are reportedly contacting the Danish National Museum about some of the more historical weapons.

Nice find. Every once in awhile Cache's are found in the UK also.

It would be nice to find a bunch of legal hidden firearms.

Okay, I can see why the GERMANS wanted to take the Danes' weapons, but why do the Danes want to disarm their people?

None of the European leaders have children. May, BoyToy, Merkel, etc are all childless. They don't have a link to the future. So they don't see a need to protect their nations.

That's somehow comforting, knowing they haven't reproduced.

I know some in France who will not surrender their weapons and they know others who will not surrender theirs. Come on, the weapons might be old but we all know what they are capable of doing and their governments fear that.
For example, "Joe", the son of a famous member of the resistance has his parent's "9mm". The authorities told him he had to surrender it. After being assured it would be placed in a museum, he gave it to them. The only problem was that he gave them another while keeping the original. BTW, "Joe" is a great guy.

Not all of Europe is pushing disarmament. The Baltic States are looking to encourage their people to arm up. Here is an article from the New York Slimes about what the nation of Estonia is doing.

Too bad we do not have leadership that see the value of this kind of people being prepared.

Queers supposedly don't reproduce either, but there's more all the time it seems.
