I'm looking at a 1903 stock that only has a K stamped on the top of the heel. Two bolt later stock in very good shape. No other stampings. Is this a left over replacement stock and would it be a Keystone. I thought they were stamped in the magazine cutoff cutout.

I was going to add a photo but photobucket is its usual piece of junk at the moment.

Keystone stocks are marked with a serifed "K" in the cutoff recess, usually stamped upside down. A "K" stamped on the heel would be no indication of a Keystone stock.

Someone else bought it. I think it was a reproduction stock. I just wanted to make sure Keystone didn't stamp their stocks in a manner different than I had seen before. Thanks much.

I like using imgur.com. Less cluttered than ohotobucket

Yep the free photobucket site has so many adds anymore it locks up my computer. I'll try imgur.com, never tried it before.

Please explain if I'm missing something here. I've used Photobucket in the past but now find it so much simpler to click on the above "insert image" icon, click on "From computer", open a file, open a specific picture in the file and attach it. My other photos remain private. (Apologies about the Winchester)

If I use my IPAD I can post directly that way. My old digital cameral I have to resize the photograph and have used photobucket then posted the link. However the free photobucket is so washed with adds it slows my computer down and the freezes up. Some of this is an older camera and older tower versus a new IPAD.
