Good looking stock figure too, A mineral spirit scrub would make those stripes pop!

Damn, Bombdog . . . .

And here I thought I had the world's ONLY REMAINING stash of those old targets!!

Mine are so old, they almost crack to pieces when handling!

The upside is, when hit with most any bullet, the hole looks to be done with a paper-punch! --Jim

Yeah Jim, i like those for practice at 100... my dad still has a hundred or so... i was thinking of swiping some for the nostalgia of it...
And i'll take a shot on the mineral spirits and post the results...
bombdog, out here...

BD,

You did OK on the pictures. The rifle looks good. Have you fired it yet?

Roger that,
She does pretty good with some 67 berdan primed stuff i got from midway a while back... Nothing spectacular though... All shots were at the SR 200yds and ten shots were in the black... i'll let ya'll know how she likes me when we've gotten to know each other a little better... Maybe i'll take her to a fancier restaurant next time...
Some chicks like hamburgers, some prefer steak...

Can you tell me what SR 200 yds means? Lost me on that one.

these tend to respond well to hand loads.

I wish my eyes could shoot as well as I think the gun can.

From memory I have gotten some 1.5 inch 100 yd groups.

Light is kind of dicey for my eyes, so some days I can see it pretty good and some days fuzzy.

Helps if its a nice day and the sun or light is from behind. Range sits E-W so only part of the day do you get that, though spring and summer it comes up early.

SR = Short Range
i.e. 200 & 300 yards
MR = Medium Range
i.e. 500 & 600 yards
LR = Long range
i.e. 1000 yards.
I am not familiar with what is shot at 800 and 900 for Palma but believe they may use the LR target or have their own targets
FWIW

Thank you, I would have thought short was like 25 yds but what the heck!
