I'm having a terrible time posting any sharp photos right side up. I dropped this iPad yesterday and I fear its outa wack.

This is a Colt Single Action Army that I bought about three weeks ago from Connecticut. That's the same state that this revolver was made in back in 1883. It was shipped from the Colt Plant to Simpson Hardware in St. Louis, Missouri with 50 others on October 30th 1883.
Where it's been for the past 133 years is a mystery. It's mine now though and it's timing is perfect. It locks up very tight.
The rifling in the bore is sharp.
I plan on shooting black powder cartridges in it of course.

Looks like a tribute to Hugh O'Brian.

Being that it was shipped to St. Louis, it probably made it's way west and ended up in Marshall Dillon's holster. 8-)
As always Fred, excellent photos!
