The rifle I just got came with a scout scope and rear sight leaf mount. A poor set up but since I have the scope , I have found that if the rear sight is removed completely, a 3/8" dove tail is revealed. There are several mounts that will work here but it may be that the rear sight is not only pinned but soldered. What are the chances that a rebuilt 91/30 would be soldered?
