i have an excess of parts for Garands that id like to swap for the appropriate M14 parts...

i realize probably NOT going to be a 1:1 trade but think they should be close in trade value with me throwing a little bit of money into the mix...

ive got bolts and trigger groups and a couple of op rods...

i need a bolt and a trigger group along with the little parts which should be pretty easy to source...

whats everyone think of my best places to effect the swap/trade? sell to a re-seller?

I'd post it on the M14 forum PX. http://m14forum.com/px/

I need some M1 parts! Post for sale ad and buy the M14 parts.

Put 'em in the ads. Be clear about what you want a price for and what you want a trade for.

not sure what the going prices are for trigger groups, bolts and oprods...

one trigger group i know is definitely for certain correct for SA rifles from mid-45 to end of war, ive got a complete HRA and mostly "complete" (maybe fully?) IHC but i dont know if those parts are correct for the "era" of the group. i.e. is it a non-D hammer supposed to be in a non-D housing?

all of the parts are out of CMP rifles that have been correctified over the years and these are surplus to my needs. i dont want to list them for above market value but i dont want to give them away either...

Look at the prices that the dealers are asking and go from there.

Believe it or not, Ebay has had a lot of M14 parts listed the past year. Many sellers do not know what they have and list stuff as M1 garand yet they are M14. I've seen numerous trigger groups, bolts and a few oprods go the course on there without getting pulled. Stocks too.
