Hey everyone,

Trying to do some research on the WWI Lattey sights. Have the sights now I'm trying to match them up with a decent rifle, same to see them sitting in a box.

I've called my usual sources and turning up no information.

I looked at the British Service Lee by Ian Skennerton. It has some information but is limited. All I know is a few were placed on No I Mk III in 1915 and I don't know the manufacturer.

Would they be correct on a 1917 BSA or 1918 ShLE?

Trying to match them up with a correct rifle but finding very little information.

Anyone out there know anything about these sights?

Thanks for the help!

They could have been used on any good shooting rifle in a sharpshooters hands. If I were to display them, I would use either prewar or early war rifles. Having a 1917 dated rifle on hand then I'd display it on that one. No telling who might have been using what at that time and it could have been used in any theater of the war.
