For Sale: Excellent condition, original I-Cut, highwood stock for an early Quality Hardware M1 Carbine stock. Marked RMC in the sling well and has a faint, but still there, large Ordnance stamp on the right stock flat just in front of the I-Cut. The finish appears original to me, but the very faint Ordnance stamp raises the possibility that it may have been sanded at one time. Very slight crack, less than one inch long, just behind the where the recoil plate would go. No handguard, no metal other than the ferrule that holds the recoil plate screw.
