Grandsons Garand update.

Thanks to the members of the Culvers pages. I now have a Garand assembled for my Grandson. I used a Receiver and trigger group that was made (probably) in the last years of Garand production at Springfield Armory. It's never been re-parked or through a re-build so looks good in the original finish.

It looks darn nice and even though I still have to do some work on the stock, it's looking pretty.

Looks plenty good to me. It is supposed to be shot not sit in a safe.

Nice job. I will be doing the same for my two daughters with some receivers I recently picked up at the CMP. Looking forward to it, great project and something to pass on and be proud of. That time spent is priceless. My girls know more about M1's than most of my shooting partners. They are thirteen and eleven. Good on you gunner312, Hooyah!
