For sale is a mint khaki M1923 sling. Arguably the worst sling design ever fielded by US ordnance, this sling was rapidly eclipsed by the M1907 it was designed to replace followed by the ubiquitous M1 sling.
This example is khaki in color and is virtually unused except for display on my Remington M1903. It has no tears or rust spots and the blackened (not painted) metal fittings have all their finish. Markings are "S.M. Co." over a date which I believe to be 1942. These markings are usually somewhat smudged, and there's no exception here.
