Springfield rifle 1873 seral number # 118422

Just picked up a trapdoor that came from a local farmhouse wall-- current residents knew nothing about it and the farmhouse was in the family for nearly 100 years- Rifle is brown all over stock in cracked and dry condition finish is brown but not rusty-- Serial is 118422 anyone got a SRS Check on this rifle!!

If only this old rat could talk!! spent the last 50+ years sleeping in a wall !! When I clean it a bit I will post pictures of the Rifle !!
