Briefly, found some. Box says the load is a 40 gr. bullet at 1650 FPS. Sounds like fun! Only concern... possibly to much fun for some of my guns! Thinking to use it in my 18-3 and Ruger 77-22 which I expect would be fine. Would also like to use it in my 15-22 and my Marvel .22 LR 1911 conversion unit. Both of these work nicely with HV rounds such as the CCI Mini-Mag, etc.

Does anyone have any experience using this particular Aguila .22 load? Information as to function, on target performance, POI/POA compared to more plebian .22 LR loads would be appreciated. Sincerely. bruce.

I am very familiar with the Aquila Super Maximum .22 LR. I have never seen the "Interceptor." The Super max is faster and is the "go to" ammo for AR .22's. Do not expect match grade accuracy from either round.

Your guns will probably shoot standard velocity .22's better than the "Interceptors."

Thank you for the information. I made a mistake in the velocity. It is a 40 gr. bullet but the velocity is 1470 FPS. Here is a link to the ad: http://www.ammofast.com/collections/22lr/products/aguila-interceptor-22-lr-copper-coated-ultra-high-velocity-soft-point-40-gr-500-brick

The Supermaximum is a 30gr. HP at 1750 fps and is usually around $45.00/500 rds at Midway.

I shot a box last year I got from the LGS. From a CZ452 Varmint it shot maybe 3" groups at 100 yds, a little better from a Win 52D but definitely not target accuracy. Fine for small game. I don't think I'd use it in anything but a bolt rifle. Alot more energy then even the standard HV ammo.

Thank you for the information. The more I think abou tit, the less I thing it wise to use this ammo except in the 77-22 and possibly the 18-3.
