That's a good thing. Bound to be at least a few good specimens on that ship from S Korea that our BO govt here in the U.S. turned away. I hope they can be gotten into John Q Public hands in Canada.

The blue sky were not that great So one will have to see. Everyone thinks they are going to be like the Danish
guns. Chances are they won't be

Where did you hear this interesting tidbit of information? Any idea of who the importer is? I have more than a few of the Danish Beretta and Breda receivers that are being sold here. If this is true then the parts market will explode.

It makes sense after hearing all the complaining about the Blue Sky rifles for the last 25 years that these are likely better since the Koreans probably only sold the older and worse condition rifles back in the 1980's. I had two and they weren't that bad in terms of barrel wear or overall condition. Mine couldn't shoot with National Match stuff, but they were good shooters. Keep in mind that a lot of the complaining about the first $275 Blue Sky rifles were the same dealers who wanted $900-1200 for their pieces. The average shooter was priced out of the M1 market for years and the appearance of the Blue Sky rifles threatened the salability of many dealers over-priced examples.

Sorry they are going to Canada since our CMP seems to be running low on Garands. Hope you guys in Canada enjoy and use them well.

Guess we could not smuggle them across the border, they are too small
