I found a nice one at local shop in excellent condition. There are minor surface dings on the butt stock near the but place (likely from moving around a safe). 95% blueing. I've not checked the bore. They're asking $600. TIA
Similar to this one.

Those turn up seldom campared to the M-62. 600 seems a very reasonal price for one as described. I see them at hi-end gun show here, 800-1000. But they are like 99%, altho I never pick them up and look close. I have a large collection of .22's and never look at the bore. Only got one bad one, a 1919 NRA Savage target, which was back in the day of corrosive ammo. I had a 99% 62 that I sold couple years ago for 900.

if the cash is easily spared..... I'd dern sure pick it up..............especially if your lady doesn't mind............just my $.02 worth hand. before my cancer returned, we bought very pretty Belg. Browning TD .22 auto's, the old Win. bolt, pump & auto.22 rifles & old Rem mod 24's & 513, 514 & 521 rifles ...... the better condition ones hold their value well & appreciate .

Thanks guys. I like to get a second opinion. I bid on a similar one a while ago, but was outbid. I don't remember what the question was I asked the seller, but the answer brought bidders out of the woodwork. Thanks. I'll drop in this week to see if it's still available.
