I have a yen for one of the old guns of my youth. Many a happy time at the carnivals of the 50s shooting a 22 pump action with exposed hammer. The Winchesters are a little out of my $$ range. Has anyone had any experience with the Rossi guns? Thanks.

The Rossi my dad had shot well without problem. Another option is a Remington 12A or 12C. Nice ones can still be had for under $500.00.

I have owned a Rossi 61 for many years. No problems, very accurate, seems to shoot any ammo to the same place. Its my 'critter' gun, so not saying its a target rifle. I got the carbine version, light and handy!

I have a Henry pump that I bought used. Works real well and is accurate.

I missed a couple of Rossis on GB at around $300. BUT, I picked up a well used Win 62A for $425. It's not too pretty but it functions flawlessly and is very accurate. It doesn't take much to male me happy. I'm happy. Thanks for the input, guys...
