Here is a pic of tonights group. 7yds unsupported. The new trigger caused me to flinch twice on an 8rd group. I was trying to time my shots because the target was moving and bobbing a little and 2 out of 8 shots went off as the target moved and I was trying to let off the trigger. Still shot the bullseye pretty much out of the target though. Low on sleep, end of a long day, have a headache and the target is moving.....yeah.....I'm cool with that grouping.

I put one of those bushings one one of my 1911's and it raised the POI about 6" @ 25 yds. I may remove it but it adds a cool look.

I lucked out. My point of impact was a couple of inches low and I was going to grind my front sight down to adjust the POI. This bushing put it about 1/4" high and I prefer the POI to be a little high on a pistol.

It cracked me up that the reviews for the bushing were mostly good except a few 1 and 2 star ratings saying it was terrible because it did not just drop in. The complaint was that it was just too tight. The thing will go in with a bushing wrench and is SNUG on my barrel. It is perfect as far as I am concerned and at $18 it's a heck of a good deal.

I just ordered a cheap sight set that says it is slightly taller than GI. We will see if that changes the POI again or not.

Either way, that grouping on a swinging bobbing target is perfectly acceptable to me.
