I stopped by the club after work today to see what I could do with the MII at 25 yards. This is the limit at our range. The photo tells the story.

Five shot group at 25 yards benched with 66 year old eyes. I am really liking my latest purchase.

LAH,
Beautiful M2 or is it a converted MI? They did know how to build an accurate rifle back then. Ive had mine to the club three times in the past 2 weeks.

I enjoy shooting it very much. It's a M2, sn 20936, Very accurate. I even killed a large rat snake that climbed, if you call it that, to the top
of a tree. I loaded it with rat shot and dropped it with just one shot, about a 20 ft shot or so, suprised me.
