Well, I was able to put about 80rds through the new Rock Island tonight. Groups went very quickly from torso sized to about 4" If I could see a little better and not had my glasses fogging up I think I easily could have gotten a tighter group. When the stars aligned and everything came together right I repeatdly strung 3 shots in a row into one large hole. One of these days I will bring ONLY the 1911 and see how it does. Switching calibers and trigger pulls from light to rock crushingly heavy is not good for shooting a perfect group. I was flinching allot....mostly on the other pistols since this 1911 actually has a pretty decent trigger.
