Didn't the Hindenberg crash (settle?) in a downtown area? (I thought it blew up as it touched a docking stanchion.)

The Hindenburg (LZ 129) crashed at the U.S. Naval Air Station, Manchester Township, New Jersey. More information can be found at:

Lakehurst Naval air station at Lakehurst NJ in front of hanger 1 is where it crashed.
