Another Pesky M1A1 Stock on Ebay

This M1A1 stock auction is almost over but I'll post the pics anyway. I think it was at around $450 last time I checked it. Emailed the seller and got bad vibes about the stock. They said they knew nothing about it and had the attitude that if it turns out to be fake then its the buyers problem for bidding on it. Might be a good stock, might be a fake, might be one someone put together with spare parts. I don't know, so I'm passing on it. With my luck though it's probably genuine. But based on the low bidding thus far, I figured others were also having bad vibes about either the seller or the stock itself.

Well first off the rivets are wrong and the stock is pretty well dinged up but the butt plate does have a set of numbers in the right location but I cannot make them out. Pictures of the bottom of the grip and inside the stock would help. With attitude of the seller as such, I think I would would pass on it.

Those rivets could be from a rebuild. A few of that type were used. Look on the left side near the rear for any sign of letters.

Mine has these type rivets. Also it is stamped RIA over EB on the side.
