Made by Mills in 1913, with rimless eagle snaps. Still looks pretty good at 100 :icon_salut:

I have one identical to that, found it at an estate auction. Filled with ammo dated around 1913-1915 in two of the "two toned" clips.

Asked one of the family members about it, said he found it, along with gun, belt, and holster in grandfather's trunk. Said they gave "all that stuff" away, didn't want it in the house.

Sweet. Its amazing how you can still find mint Mills gear. I've a 1916 cartridge belt that looks unissued.

This one is 101 years old, and issued when they were still trying to decide how many magazines to issue with the new Model 1911 pistol. The two cell pocket was adopted in 1913.

Not that I am real competitive, but I wear two of the 1918 ones when I shoot three gun. My Chip McCormick 10-rounders stick out a bit, but I just fold the flap back, and they do the job just fine.

I have an unissued 1916 Mills myself that I think I purchsed from Gun Parts Corp at least twenty years ago for about $5 to $10.... couldn't have been much more, because I'm a cheapskate. LOL
