Battlefield dig up socket bayonet, what is it?

I have a friend who passed and I'm helping clean up the estate. He was sort of an amateur tressure hunter, and I believe he said he found this bayonet buried near Gettysburg back in the day. At least I think that is what he told me.

But anyways anyone know what it is, and what it fits? Also any value or not? If there is, I will sell it for the widow and give her the money. Thanks in advance guys.

Looks like an 1855 Musket series Bayonet. They were used on the 55, 61, and 63 series Muskets. Its not a 42 series the cut would be on the bottom and enfields widens out.

this is an original trapdoor Bayonet only difference than the 55 series is size of socket

This is a repro enfield bayonet see that it is not smooth where the curve to blade is how it widens out

With the socket bridge at a right angle to the blade, it probably is an 1873 Winchester bayonet. There is a lot of rust, but is should be about 21 inches long with a 3 inch long socket, and the shank is only 3/4" long. Not worth a lot in this condition, about $50 maybe.
