I attended a farm auction yesterday, and I was surprised to find and purchase two 1909 Argentine Mauser actions with bolt bodies only. As they are already parted out, I thought that I would build them into a couple of classic sporters for my grandsons. I have shopped the usual places,(Gun Parts, Sarco, etc.). I am stunned to find NO trigger guards available. I do not have to have original 1909 guards, so I could use any guard that would fit. I also need all the other pieces, except the trigger, to make two complete actions. I would appreciate any ideas on where to look for these parts to be found at a reasonable price. Finish is not important, I just need good functional parts. Thanks for your help. Regards, Clark

I thought I saw a real TG at The Dealers Warehouse in Modesto, CA. The real TG's are not common at all.

It turns out that I did not dig deep enough into the Gun Parts website. Ordered the parts I needed today. Thanks for the leads and the wake-up call. Regards, Clark
