I will do it tonight if no one else responds. I have more A4's in my database that are in SRS. Several forums members have more in their databases than do I.

There were about 240 records of rifles in the serial number ranges assigned to tne m1903A4 as of a couple of years ago when the listing was on line. Its possible more rifles have been added in the interim.
Of the 240 about 220 were clearly identified as "A4". In a few cases SRS has more than one record on a particular rifle. So the 220 records equates to a slightly smaller number of rifles.
The remaining rifles were in the right serial number blocks but not identified as A4's. This may simply be due to the manner in which the information was recorded or its possible the rifles were converted to 03-A3's or drill rifles. Some of the rifles in this category were assigned to JROTC programs.
3412587 was not on the SRS list as of 3 or 4 years ago but might be now.
The lions share of SRS entries on A4's (190~) came from a single source - the CMP inventory of June 1999. The records of the remaining rifles were located priincipally in the Springfield Arsenal collection, the collections of various USMC museums and in OSS records. The remainder were scattered in various records.

I suspect there are at least a few hundred A4's recorded in old DCM records but I don't believe those have been made public.

Jim

Fort Campbell's military museum has at least one 03-A4. You could call the director for its number.
