A friend just gave me an SA 1906 Bayonet! When i took off the duct tape I found the right grip to be plastic and the left to be gone. Where can I find one plastic or a set of wood grips?

Try Sarco Inc. They have repro wood grips for $14.95. Item Number: GRP143

Plastics are available on eBay.

Don't normally knock Sarco, but the repro grips are not worth the money. Got a pair & didn't fit well at all.

Um... Well I logged on this morning and ordered up a pair. Then I came over here and found Budmant's post. O well, free shipping today anyway.

another option is to buy one of those Korean Cutdown's where they've made the old 1905's into an M5 length blade ...
they are worthless as a collectors piece, but often still have very good grips attached

IMA may have them for a low price.
