I think we quit humping the tube shortly after this pic was taken (May of 1970; Cambodia), as there was just never any place to set up where we had a clear opening in the canopy.

I particularly like this one. We were the "Checkertails". I was on my way to preflight an A3 for a misson. Note the old style Mae West life jacket, so this must have been in the 1950s..

Here is part of my P2V Neptune crew, 1965(?). I'm in whites. No idea why this photo was taken or the mix of uniforms. Navigator & Plane Captain are not in the photo.
The Chief, top left, was a WW 2 Navy enlisted pilot and still wore that rate on his sleve.

Those are great pictures brother! I know Roger Donlon and he has some great old SF pictures not to mention the MOH. I think its great to see where we came from in the community. You guys paved the way for youngsters like me.
